Puzzle Word is a classic word soup game. Your goal is to join the letter blocks to make words and gain points. The words must be at least three letters long and the blocks can be joined horizontally, vertically and diagonally. Every time you make a word, the letter blocks used disappear making the blocks above, fall down. As you can see, it is a really easy game to play.
The graphics are quite good for a soup game that does not really require much graphics, but they are very colorful which is nice and it has a window mode which I think is a very important feature all puzzle games must have. The sound effects and music are good too. There are a whole lot of levels to play; actually the game is almost endless. You have the option to save your game so you can stop playing and resume later from where you left.
On the negative side, the game is not free. You can download the trial for no money but this will allow you only sixty minutes to play, then the trial ends and if you want to keep playing you will have to buy it for U$S 19.99. |
